Which SEC teams have committed the most penalties heading into Week 6?

Let’s take a look at the numbers, via CFBStats.com.

Matt Luke’s Ole Miss Rebels are the least disciplined squad so far, having committed a total of 49 penalties for 448 yards, an average of 9.8 penalties per game. On the other end of the spectrum, Derek Mason’s Vanderbilt Commodores are the least penalized team in the conference, recording only 24 penalties through five games. If Vandy is going to pull off a massive upset against Georgia, avoiding self-inflicted setbacks will be a start.
