One of the nation’s best defensive end prospects has his eyes on six of the premier college football programs in the nation as Greg Emerson lists Alabama, Tennessee, and Ole Miss out of the SEC along with Clemson, Ohio State, and Oregon among his current Top 6.

The 6-foot-3, 296-pound Emerson is listed as a four-star prospect, the No. 1 overall prospect from the state of Tennessee and the No. 25 overall prospect in the nation in the 2018 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports. The 2018 U.S. Army All-American also has offers from Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Texas A&M, USC among many others.

The Jackson, Tenn., native released the following video Thursday, announcing his Top 6 heading into the summer. Emerson is expected to make college choice known following his senior season of high school football and plans to enroll early in order to participate in winter conditioning with his new teammates.

One of the nation’s most physically imposing defensive linemen, Emerson is projected by some as a defensive tackle. Despite those projections, Emerson plans to play defensive end in college.
