Nearly every SEC team has played its spring game and only Arkansas, which will scrimmage on April 29, has yet to take the field. With so many games already in the books, we’ve got a nearly-complete look at the attendance numbers for each program.

This may not seem like something worth monitoring, but attendance at spring games can go a long way in generating buzz for a team and making an impression on high school prospects.

Members of Georgia’s No. 3-rated 2017 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking, have mentioned that seeing over 93,000 fans packed into Sanford Stadium for the Bulldogs’ 2016 G-Day Game stuck with them. It’s certainly not a major factor for most recruits, but it can be something that prospects think about.

Now that most of the scrimmages have been played, here are the updated attendance marks.

Alabama: 74,326

Georgia: 66,133

Florida: Estimated 48,000

Auburn: 46,331

Kentucky: 37,172

LSU: 35,000

Texas A&M: 21,000-plus

Mississippi State: 16,630

Mizzou: 16,457

South Carolina: 12,345

Ole Miss: Estimated 8,000

Tennessee: Not released

The Vols’ spring game was called at halftime due to the weather, and Tennessee hasn’t released an official attendance number yet.

LSU’s spring game was called early due to weather concerns in the area, but Ed Orgeron estimated there to be 35,000 fans prior to the Tigers moving into the indoor practice facility.

Alabama topped all schools with over 74,000 fans in attendance for its spring game. Although Georgia couldn’t repeat last year’s immense numbers, it still had a strong showing on G-Day. Thus far, Auburn and Florida are the only other schools to have over 40,000 fans in the stands.
