We’re in for some major shakeups in the rankings. Week 7 has been a wild one as three top 10 teams have already lost as of 7:30 p.m. ET.

The biggest loss of the day so far was actually the most lopsided. No. 13 LSU knocked off No. 2 Georgia 36-16 in Death Valley. It’s uncertain how far Georgia will drop in the polls, but No. 7 Washington and No. 8 Penn State will almost certainly fall out of the top 10.

No. 17 Oregon pulled off the upset over the Huskies in overtime, winning 30-27 on a walk-off touchdown. Michigan State’s 21-17 win over No. 8 Penn State also came down to the final snap. The Nittany Lions, in a surprising home loss, attempted a Hail Mary on the last play of the game.

There was almost a fourth top 10 loss. No. 10 UCF came from behind to beat Memphis 31-30. The Tigers were driving as the clock ran out on them. Earlier in the day, No. 5 Notre Dame trailed Pittsburgh, but came back to win 19-14.

Associated Press voters will have a lot to sort through tonight and tomorrow. The media talking heads will have plenty to talk about in the coming week.

We shall see if any more highly ranked teams fall tonight.
