We’re only about 115 days away from the 2018 college football season, and this off-season is flying by.

However, now we’re starting to reach the desert of the college football year, and much won’t be happening until SEC Media Days in July.

USA Today dropped its post-spring top 25, which included five SEC teams. Interestingly, Alabama isn’t No. 1. That belongs to Clemson. And Georgia isn’t a top five team, ranked at No. 6.

Along with Alabama and Georgia, Auburn, Mississippi State and South Carolina were ranked outside the top 10 but inside the top 25. Notably missing from this ranking is historical powerhouses Florida and LSU. But just look at Lane Kiffin’s FAU squad ranked at No. 17.

The outlet pits No. 4 Washington and No. 11 Auburn in the 2018 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game this September, and it should be a very entertaining matchup.
