Video: New Temple coach Geoff Collins puts players through Rocky-inspired workout
When you’re in Philadelphia, you have to go see the iconic Rocky statue and run the famous Rocky Steps outside of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Having a team of college football players who are mostly from outside of the Philly area, new Temple coach Geoff Collins, a former Florida defensive coordinator and Alabama assistant, decided to put the Owls through a Rocky-inspired workout.
As you can see in the video below, the Owls took to the squat racks while wearing boxing robes and then headed out to the steps for some intense cardio:

The Rocky Steps were the setting for the 2017 NFL Draft, though the league built such a giant stage on the steps that the original structure was hardly noticeable.
The Owls got a more authentic experience this week, as they followed in Sylvester Stallone and Rocky Marciano’s legendary footsteps.
No word on whether the Owls were treated to cheesesteaks after the tough workout.
