The 2022 college football season will be here before we know it, and that means it’s time for preseason All-America squads to start coming out.

On Monday, the Walter Camp Preseason All-American teams were announced, and a total of 10 SEC players were honored.

The SEC got 3 players on the first-team offense, 6 on the first-team defense and 1 on the second-team defense:

First-team offense

  • TE: Brock Bowers, Georgia
  • OL: O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida
  • QB: Bryce Young, Alabama

First-team defense

  • DL: Jalen Carter, Georgia
  • LB: Will Anderson Jr., Alabama
  • DB: Cam Smith, South Carolina
  • DB: Eli Ricks, Alabama
  • DB: Kelee Ringo, Georgia
  • DB: Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

Second-team defense

  • DL: Gervon Dexter, Florida
