One of the great things about high school football is when you see videos of special needs athletes getting a chance to get on the field and score touchdowns.

However, blind Brophy Prep RB Adonis Watt from Arizona didn’t want that sort of feel-good moment.

Instead, as you can see below, he entered a game against Mountain View and ran for two touchdowns against a live defense:

In the story from AZCentral.com, coach Scott Heideman said the Mountain View players were actually playing defense:

The touchdown runs were from 1 and 3 yards and the Mountain View players were defending, Brophy freshman coach Scott Heideman said.

“ALL EARNED!!,” Heideman wrote in an email about Watt’s touchdowns.

Per Heideman, even the officials didn’t know Watts was blind, so it was cool to see him make such an impact on the game.

We can’t wait to see what Watts accomplishes next as he progresses through his high school career.
