The Egg Bowl rivalry between the Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs is a 24/7, 365-day-a-year deal.

That was true at the SEC Baseball Tournament on Wednesday, too, as a young Ole Miss fan and a young Mississippi State fan chased down the same foul ball.

As you can see in the video below, the Ole Miss fan comes up with the foul ball, but not before getting tackled by the Mississippi State fan:

Of course, the Rebel supporter got the last laugh. He got the ball and even taunted the Bulldog fan a bit on his way back to his seats.

Mississippi State doesn’t play until later tonight, so this may not be the last battle between these two fans.
