ESPN’s College GameDay was in Lubbock on Saturday ahead of a game between Texas Tech and Kansas, but there was a cloud hanging over college basketball.

That’s because, on Friday, Yahoo! released a report detailing the FBI’s investigation into the sport, naming several big-time programs, coaches and players as having received improper benefits.

That was obviously discussed during the show on Saturday, but host Rece Davis made a savage, yet hilarious, joke about it during one segment. As the Texas Tech student missed the half-court shot for $18,000, Davis said she still gets a prize of $1,800, then added that it “won’t even get you investigated by anybody,” as you can see in the video shared by @TalkHoops below:

The other analysts laugh, but say it’s too soon to be making jokes. Davis, however, clearly felt differently.

The ongoing investigation is sure to cost some coaches their jobs and perhaps some players will lose their eligibility, but that won’t stop Davis from laughing at those who broke the rules.
