WATCH: South Carolina State players pull off incredible flip-and-slam tackle
Thursday night’s game between South Carolina State and North Carolina Central was an exciting one, as NC Central held on for a narrow 33-28 home victory.
However, the biggest highlight of the game came from SC State, as DB Alex Brown and DL Paul McKeiver pulled off an incredible tag-team tackle.
As you can see in the video below, Brown and McKeiver may have a future as a WWE tag-team duo after Brown flips an NC Central ballcarrier and McKeiver slams him to the turf to prevent him from crossing the goal line:

Surprisingly, it doesn’t appear that the play was flagged, though it certainly seemed like a tackle referees could have penalized.
Fortunately for fans of SC State, the play stood, and fortunately for NC Central, the runner wasn’t injured.
Though that big-time stop kept NC Central out of the end zone to preserve a 28-26 lead, the Eagles did eventually score again to finish off the come-from-behind victory.
