With Week 1 in the books, our preseason way-too-early bowl projections have changed a bit.

Auburn and Georgia move into the College Football Playoff after impressive performances while Alabama drops out of the final four and into the Peach. Texas A&M’s emphatic win at South Carolina is a cause for concern for the Gamecocks’ long-term goal if they can get it worked out quickly.

On the outside looking in last week, Tennessee appears much improved under Butch Jones and showed the college football world that Utah State’s not as good as everyone thinks.
