The next set of College Football Playoff Rankings were released Tuesday night and Twitter reaction was geared mostly toward the big changes to the top four, including Notre Dame getting bumped after a win.

Clemson remained No. 1, with Alabama No. 2. Nobody seemed to mind that order, though at least one analyst questioned the mighty SEC.

As expected, Big 12 fans were happy to see their conference’s first appearance in the top four. Oklahoma jumped from No. 7 to No. 3, battling back to playoff relevancy after a bad loss to Texas eight weeks ago.

With only 140 characters you’d be surprised how creative these fans and analysts can get about voicing their opinion about the latest poll on Twitter:

Notre Dame became the topic of discussion after dropping two spots this week. Up until tonight, it looked like Notre Dame was all but assured to get in if they won out, but now it doesn’t seem so simple.

The fact that Notre Dame’s only loss is to No. 1 Clemson and they beat Texas, which handed No. 3 Oklahoma its only loss, didn’t sit well with the masses.

With one final week of play left before the conference championships there still are chances for top 10 and even top 5 teams to lose.
