In their second home game under Jim McElwain, Florida paired its orange alternate jerseys with its orange pants for a bright monochrome look against East Carolina. It was the first time Florida went head-to-toe orange since 1989.
Vanderbilt wore its much-anticipated ‘Deep Water’ chrome, gold and grey alternates for the first time against Georgia in a nationally-televised home game on CBS. The commodores pulled within striking distance of the ninth-ranked Bulldogs late before a pick-six from Dominick Sanders sealed the deal.
