Thanks to the Big Ten, this week’s Associated Press Poll featured a shakeup following Ohio State’s and Michigan State’s losses against non-conference opponents.

UCLA barely escaped Memphis this week at home. Do we need more evidence the SEC is the best conference in college football? Many talking heads have UCLA in the College Football Playoff, but they narrowly squeaked by Memphis. The Bruins are losing steam in the national picture.

The SEC flexed its muscle in this week’s AP Top 25. Alabama is SEC’s top ranked team at No. 3, but they were jumped by Oregon, who beat Michigan State. Auburn still sits just outside the top four at No. 5. Georgia, Texas A&M and LSU complete the top 10. Ole Miss, Missouri and South Carolina round out the top 25.
