What may have looked like a tame weekend in the SEC when the schedules were first released have gotten much better in recent weeks.

The annual Arlington game between Texas A&M and Arkansas appears to be an early season must-win contest for both programs in 2017 and possibly both coaches moving forward. Two undefeated teams are set to meet in Nashville on CBS as Alabama will travel to face off against Vanderbilt. The game between Mississippi State and Georgia could be the best game of the weekend around the nation. Auburn and Missouri both desperately need to get a conference win to right the ship at each school. Meanwhile, an undefeated Kentucky team is searching for its first win over Florida in 30 years in Lexington Saturday night.
