The quarterback play in the SEC this season has ranged from exceptional to disastrous.

Alabama’s Mac Jones and Florida’s Kyle Trask are clearly the best quarterbacks in the conference and legitimate contenders for the Heisman Trophy. After those two, Ole Miss’ Matt Corral and Texas A&M’s Kellen Mond have stood out as the best of the rest.

PFF ranked all 127 FBS quarterbacks going into this weekend’s games.

Here’s how every quarterback in the SEC ranked:

  • No. 4 — Mac Jones, Alabama
  • No. 5 — Kyle Trask, Florida
  • No. 11 –Matt Corral, Ole Miss
  • No. 13 — Kellen Mond, Texas A&M
  • No. 30 — Feleipe Franks, Arkansas
  • No. 31 — Connor Bazelak, Missouri
  • No. 38 — Collin Hill, South Carolina
  • No.39 — Terry Wilson, Kentucky
  • No. 44 — Bo Nix, Auburn
  • No. 59 — Stetson Bennett, Georgia
  • No.98 — Ken Seals, Vanderbilt
  • No. 100 — Jarrett Guarantano, Tennessee
  • No. 103 — T.J. Finley/Max Johnson, LSU
  • No. 119 — K.J. Costello/Will Rogers, Mississippi State

While there’s room for debate on whether Jones and Trask should leapfrog any of the top 3, these rankings overall seem fair based on how the SEC quarterbacks have performed this season. It’s still jarring to see how far Costello has fallen after an insanely great Week 1 showing and the woes for defending national champion LSU post-Joe Burrow.

This Saturday, Alabama hosts Kentucky (4 p.m. EST/SEC Network) and Florida travels to face Vanderbilt (12 p.m. EST/ESPN).
