There’s a good chance one of the nation’s fastest receiver prospects plays his college football in the Southeastern Conference.

That’s because four-star California native Xavier Worthy announced on Monday that his final list is made up of SEC programs Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU with Michigan and Oregon rounding out his list of national contenders.

The Central East High School star from Fresno, Calif., is listed at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, and is rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 40 overall receiver in the country in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

In addition to his accolades on the high school gridiron, Worthy runs track and has clocked an incredible 10.55 100-meter dash.

One look at his junior season highlight reel and it’s easy to see why so many elite SEC programs are high on the California native in the current recruiting cycle.
