Day one of the XFL Draft saw 38 former SEC players selected. Arkansas and Vanderbilt were the only two SEC teams that didn’t have at least one former player drafted Tuesday.

The XFL Draft runs through Wednesday, and the eight teams will select from over 1,000 players who are in the draft pool. So, more former SEC players will surely be picked.

Eight quarterbacks were picked prior to the draft starting, and a total of 240 players were drafted on Day 1. Two former SEC quarterbacks were taken: Aaron Murray and Jordan Ta’amu.
