Yahoo Sports releases preseason bowl predictions
The preseason predictions are in from Yahoo Sports and the outlet projects 11 SEC teams to go bowling this season.
That includes, of course, a trip to the upcoming College Football Playoff for the nation’s best conference.
No surprise, the outlet predicts Alabama will be the team representing the SEC in the College Football Playoff while Texas A&M, LSU and Georgia are all projected to make New Year’s Six bowl appearances.
Unfortunately for Arkansas, South Carolina and Vanderbilt fans, those programs were not projected to make the postseason according to Yahoo.

Duke’s Mayo Bowl: Pitt vs. Missouri
Music City Bowl: Northwestern vs. Tennessee
Gator Bowl: Miami vs. Auburn
Outback Bowl: Michigan vs. Ole Miss
Citrus Bowl: Penn State vs. Florida
Texas Bowl: TCU vs. Mississippi State
Peach Bowl: UCF vs. Texas A&M
Fiesta Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame
Sugar Bowl: Iowa State vs. Georgia
