Even though most of the nation’s top players took advantage of the first-ever early signing period to sign their letters of intent, there is still some talent out there.

One of the top players remaining is 4-star DT Dennis Briggs Jr., a 6-4, 250-pound defender out of Florida.

On Christmas, Briggs announced his final four teams, and one SEC school — South Carolina — made the cut, as you can see in the tweet below:

Briggs added that he’d be signing on National Signing Day on Feb. 7, and will do so at his high school. The Gamecocks will compete with three ACC schools — Florida State, Miami and Louisville — for his services.

According to the 247Sports composite, Briggs is the No. 25 defensive tackle in the class of 2018 and the No. 59 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
