Aliyah Boston is heading to Indianapolis!

The former South Carolina star was selected, as expected, No. 1 overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft to the Indiana Fever. She joins A’ja Wilson as the only South Carolina women’s basketball players to be selected No. 1 overall.

Add that one to her resume.

Boston has been nothing but successful since even before her journey in college basketball. The former McDonalds All-American won a national title at South Carolina in 2022 and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player for her part in the run.

On top of that, Boston is a 4-time 1st-team All-SEC selection, a 4-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year, a 3-time National Defensive Player of the Year and a 3-time unanimous 1st-team All-American.

And frankly speaking, that’s only scratching the surface of the impressive accolades she has earned by the age of 21. It’s hard to imagine her trophy case getting dusty any time soon.
