After missing out on facing the Chanticleers last season, South Carolina is still committed to playing Coastal Carolina in the years to come.

The two programs were scheduled to play last season, on Saturday, Sept. 5, but that obviously didn’t happen after the SEC moved to an exclusive conference schedule due to COVID.

Now the two teams will meet on Nov. 22, 2025, according to Kevin Kelley of FBSchedules. Coastal Carolina is set to make $1.4 million for making the trip to Columbia for the game.

South Carolina is 2-0 all-time against Coastal Carolina.

Following this news, South Carolina’s 2025 non-conference scheduling is complete as the Gamecocks now have four games scheduled outside of its SEC schedule.

South Carolina’s 2025 non-conference schedule:

  • vs. Virginia Tech (in Atlanta) on August 31
  • at Appalachian State on September 20
  • vs. Coastal Carolina on November 22
  • vs. Clemson on November 29
