South Carolina WR Bryan Edwards was taken in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders.

There had been rumors that he could go higher, potentially even late in the first round at one point during the pre-draft process, but now he has his new NFL home.

And, on Saturday, he officially signed his first NFL contract, per a release from the Raiders that was posted to Twitter:

The Raiders also took former Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III in Round 1 of the draft, so Edwards has some company in the receiving corps.

In 4 years at South Carolina, Edwards recorded 234 catches for 3,045 yards and 22 touchdowns.
