Former South Carolina DE Devin Taylor is set to have a new NFL home in 2017.

The 6-foot-7 end became an unrestricted free agent following the season with the Detroit Lions, and now, he’s on his way to the New York Giants, per multiple reports Wednesday. The Giants signed Taylor to a one-year deal.

The former Gamecock was a fourth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Lions, where he played through the 2016 season. In four NFL seasons, Taylor has made 92 tackles and 15 sacks in 61 games. Taylor played for Steve Spurrier at South Carolina from 2008-2012. He racked up an impressive 35.5 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks in four career seasons in Columbia.
