Report: QB Jake Bentley will represent South Carolina at SEC Media Days
Well, now we know at least one SEC quarterback will be at SEC Media Days.
Reggie Anderson, sports director for WLTX-TV in Columbia, tweeted that South Carolina signal caller Jake Bentley will be one of three Gamecocks to attend SEC Media Days next month.
Mind you, media days are only 12 days away. That’s the unofficial official kickoff to the 2017 season.

It’s no surprise that Bentley would be representing South Carolina. He’s solid with the media, and he’s a rising star and team leader for the Gamecocks.
Bentley recently attended the Manning Passing Academy, and Eli and Archie had nothing but great things to say about him and his development.
“Jake threw it well, right up there with the rest of the big names,” Eli Manning said last Friday. “I was really impressed with all of the quarterbacks yesterday. These guys all have strong arms and throw it accurately.”
Will Muschamp and Archie are great friends, and the elder Manning can see why his head coach thinks so highly of him.
“I can see why Will is excited about him,” said Archie Manning, the former Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints quarterback. “He’s going to be a good player. He’s young. Sometimes you can just tell that they are savvy. He’s kind of got it. He’s playing in a tough conference. I’m not saying he’s going to set the world on fire, but you can tell he’s going to be a good one.”
While the remaining attendees for SEC Media Days will trickle out over the coming 10 days, we at least know one quarterback who will be there.
