Shane Beamer provides injury updates ahead of South Carolina's battle against SC State
South Carolina’s Week 5 battle against SC State was moved from Saturday to Thursday to get in front of Hurricane Ian. Suddenly, head coach Shane Beamer has just 2 days to get ready for the in-state battle.
He updated media of the Gamecocks’ injury situation Tuesday, declaring 1 Gamecock doubtful and one questionable heading into the matchup.
Injury updates:

Every other member of the Gamecock crew is expected to be back Thursday.
Rush missed last week’s game against Charlotte. Wonnum was injured in the same game, exiting early with a foot injury.
The Gamecocks look to improve to 3-2 Saturday.
