The South Carolina Gamecocks added a second player to their 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday night, dipping into Georgia to do it.

The player is weak-side DE Rodricus Fitten, who is a 3-star recruit from Washington High School.

The 6-3, 220-pound defender made his announcement on Twitter on Wednesday evening:

According to 247Sports, Fitten is the No. 25 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 44 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

It’s still early, but 247Sports has the No. 8 2019 recruiting class in the SEC and the No. 19 overall class in the country.

For 2018, the Gamecocks have 19 commits and rank No. 8 in the SEC (No. 22 nationally).
