Saturday night is huge for both South Carolina and Kentucky.

The Gamecocks enter 1-3, while Kentucky enters 2-2. Will Muschamp and Mark Stoops equally need a win Saturday in a big way. USC is on the verge of falling out of bowl contention. Earlier this week, Stoops called the Gamecocks “the best 1-3 team in the country.”

On Friday, South Carolina revealed it would wear its throwback black jerseys Saturday night. USC will wear its garnet helmets, black jerseys and white pants.

South Carolina wore the same combination for the Charleston Southern game earlier this season, its only win.

Kentucky has won five in a row over the Gamecocks. South Carolina holds the overall series record 16-11.

The Gamecocks and Wildcats kickoff Saturday night from Williams-Brice Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
