South Carolina and No. 22 Texas A&M will play in the afternoon slate Saturday, but it might as well be in primetime.

Shilo Sanders — the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion “Primetime” Sanders — has scheduled an official visit with the Gamecocks for this weekend, according to a report from GamecockCentral.com, Rivals.com’s South Carolina website.

“South Carolina has a solid program,” the three-star cornerback told the website. “I talk to their coaches and they definitely know what they’re talking about. I think it would be a nice place to go to help me develop my skills for the next level, which is the NFL.”

The Gamecocks extended an offer to the 6-foot-1, 184-pound Sanders last month, and this weekend’s trip to Columbia will be his first official visit. He holds offers from several Power 5 schools, including Florida State, where his father played.

South Carolina (3-2, 2-2 SEC) hosts the Aggies (4-2, 2-1) at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
