SEC Network‘s Brent Musburger provided an interesting tidbit as South Carolina lined up for an extra point trailing 21-13 with 1:40 left in the fourth quarter.

Of course, Georgia entered Sunday’s game as an 8.5-point favorite, which means anyone picking South Carolina to beat the spread would have won their bet after the successful PAT.

Unfortunately for them, Georgia’s Terry Godwin returned an onside kick 43-yards for a touchdown, which propelled the Bulldogs to a 28-14 win, six points more than the spread.

Several Twitter users suggested that Musburger had the anguish of one of those bettors in his voice during his call of the kick return.

Never change, Brent. Never change.
