WATCH: Jadeveon Clowney shows off crazy athleticism, terrible ball security
Former South Carolina defensive end and current Houston Texan Jadeveon Clowney reminded us all how great of an athlete he is when he bolted up the sideline after recovering a loose ball during Thursday night’s game between the Texans and Cincinnati Bengals.
He also proved to us all that he has totally forgotten how to carry a football.
Clowney’s speed dates all the way back to his high school days when he played running back. Back then, Clowney was likely trained on a regular basis to squeeze the football between the hand and bicep in the “breadbasket.”
In all fairness, he probably doesn’t spend a lot of time working on ball security these days. That much is evident:

Instead of carrying the ball in the “breadbasket,” Clowney carries it, literally, like a loaf of bread.

Jadeveon Clowney is such a large human being he carries a football like it’s an iPhone 7 Plus

That run by Clowney may have been the most impressive run back by a DE I’ve ever seen. (Not including the handle)
