This Saturday, Tennessee travels to South Carolina in a matchup that has produced tight finishes in recent seasons.

South Carolina’s official Twitter account has a weekly tradition of posting their “Battle Armor” for the upcoming game, and this edition has a Halloween theme as the game is being played on October 27.

Here is the combo the Gamecocks will be wearing:

South Carolina is going with an all-black look, one that will surely energize the crowd at Williams-Brice Stadium on a 7:30pm ET kickoff  on Saturday.

Jeremy Pruitt and Will Muschamp are in similar situations, in that each team needs to win three of their remaining games to be bowl eligible. South Carolina has a two-game in streak over the Vols, and the last time Tennessee was in Columbia, a season with SEC Championship aspirations was derailed in a 24-21 loss. Muschamp has never lost to the Vols as a head coach, with a 6-0 record.

The uniform combo could also invoke memories of the 2009 edition of this game, when the Vols wore black jerseys and orange pants in Lane Kiffin’s lone season in Knoxville.
