Will Muschamp had another reunion with some of the players he recruited to Florida when he was coach there from 2011-14.
Earlier in the week, Muschamp, in his second season as head coach at South Carolina, was asked if it would be an advantage playing Florida because of his familiarity with the roster. He said it would be tougher because he knows how good the Gators are.
The Gamecocks held on for a 28-20 victory on Saturday over visiting Florida, and Muschamp had several warm embraces with former players and staff. He asked about their families and gave them encouraging words about their own careers.
The win improved South Carolina to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the SEC.
Here’s some video of the post-game reunions.
