What South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer said after Gamecocks' 23-10 loss to Missouri
The No. 25-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks expected to continue their hot streak against the Missouri Tigers, but instead felt 23-10 as Eli Drinkwitz’s team garners its second consecutive SEC win this season.
The South Carolina passing game struggled as the team didn’t get much going offensively all together. Quarterback Spencer Rattler completed 20-of-30 passes for 171 yards with 1 interception and 1 rushing touchdown.
Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer met with the media following the game to discuss what he saw out of his team and what went wrong in what many predicted would be a victory for the home team.
Shane Beamer: MarShawn Lloyd has a "pretty significant" bruise on his quad. Took a shot in the first half. Tried to come back in but just couldn't get it done.

Beamer said the offense was "nowhere close to good enough" tonight.
