Dowdle suffered a left leg injury with 8:44 remaining in the first quarter and didn’t return. He was seen out of his uniform and in street clothes by the second half. Muschamp said it was a fractured fibula.

Dowdle had four carries for 19 yards against Tennessee.

Entering the game, he was second on the team in rushing with 56 carries for 187 yards and one touchdown.
