Right next to plane tracking reporting, real estate searches are up there with preliminary signs of a coaching carousel in full swing.

In this case, the latest report of real estate shopping in Austin, Texas involves Shelley Meyer, Urban Meyer’s wife about the potential opening at Texas if the Longhorns move on from Tom Herman. Shelley, recently visited Austin to assess the real estate situation, Austonia reported.

For many fans Meyer, the Fox Sports analyst, is the perfect choice for the blue blood program after he won national championships at Ohio State and Florida.

Pressure is building around Herman as the fan base becomes increasingly impatient that the Longhorns continues to disappoint. The latest example came in a loss to Iowa State on Saturday. They have not won a Big 12 title since 2009.

Herman was asked if he is the right man for the job.

“That’s not for me to decide,” Herman said, per the Associated Press. “I feel like where we have the program right now, compared to where it was when we took over, the future is very bright.”

The Iowa State loss followed other losses to Oklahoma and TCU this season.

Herman is 30-18 in his fourth season with the Longhorns
