It’s hard to be this bad. Credit Syracuse for finding a way to pull it off in spectacular fashion.
Syracuse just fell to 1-9 on the season and the way they did it sums up their terrible season.
Finding themselves down seven points in the closing moments of the game, Syracuse QB Rex Culpepper took a sack on third and goal.
That in itself is a bad play but Culpepper doubled down on the awfulness by lining up the offense in a hurry and spiking the ball.
Yes, on fourth down.
That was the ball game.
