Texas A&M’s depth at the tight end position looks to be taking a hit as redshirt sophomore Camron Horry has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

News of Horry’s decision to enter the portal was first reported by Brian Perroni of 247Sports. As you may have heard every time Horry’s name has been mentioned, he is the son of former NBA player Robert Horry.

It must be noted that entering the NCAA transfer portal does not guarantee a player will not return to the team, it simply allows coaches from other programs the ability to contact the player in order to discuss a potential transfer.

Horry signed with the Aggies in the 2017 recruiting cycle and redshirted his first season on campus. He was an honorable mention Class 6A all-state selection for Taylor High School out of Katy, Texas and was rated as a three-star prospect when he signed with the Aggies.

During his Aggie career, Horry has appeared in six total games and made one career tackle.
