Jimbo Fisher has moved on from the summer back and forth with Nick Saban, and as the Aggies prepare for Alabama this week, Fisher said he and Saban have patched things up.

Fisher was asked about his May comments to check into Saban’s background and the intent of that statement.

“That’s over with,” Fisher said Monday. “He and I, we’re in great shape, we’re in great things and we’ve moved on. We’ve moved on. We’re in good shape, we’ve moved on.”

In May in Destin, Florida, Saban also started to move on from the comments that were sparked because of Saban’s comments about Texas A&M’s recruiting practices and paying players.

“I didn’t say anybody did anything wrong, and I’ve said everything I wanted to say about this,” Saban said. “I should have never mentioned any individual institutions. … I have no problem with Jimbo.”
