Texas A&M took care of business against a strong UAB team (ranked No. 25 in the Coaches Poll) Saturday night, winning 41-20. It’s a relief for the Aggies to get through “Cupcake Week” without a hiccup, even though the Blazers were no cupcake. It’s a positive for TAMU to advance to 7-4, but it’s next week, the season finale against LSU, that will likely determine how people grade the first season of the Fisher era.

After the UAB game, Fisher discussed his quarterback, the team’s performance in all three phases and offered an update on LB Otaro Alaka.
