Texas A&M looked like it was going to have one of the best seasons in the SEC on paper ahead of the year, but that has not come to fruition with head coach Jimbo Fisher taking some heat as the offense has not accomplished what was initially expected.

Fisher has taken the time to reflect on what’s happened and there’s no question the Aggies will be hard at work to fix areas of concern both down the final stretch of the season and ahead of what they can only hope will be a better one.

“We do that every year,” Fisher said of looking back on the way things have gone. “We evaluate success, failures, what’s out there and what’s going on,” Fisher said. “The key is to execute what you do and know what you do.”

He also named Conner Weigman the starting quarterback ahead of the team’s upcoming matchup against Auburn. Weigman completed 28-of-44 passes for 338 yards with 4 touchdowns in his most recent showing, the 31-18 loss to Ole Miss.

Texas A&M will face Auburn at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in n Jordan-Hare Stadium.
