Right before Jimbo Fisher took the podium at SEC Media Days, a report emerged from Houston Chronicle reporter Brent Zwerneman indicating that Texas and Oklahoma are both interested in leaving the Big 12 for the SEC.

In fact, a source cited in that story indicates the announcement of Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC could come quickly.

The SEC and Greg Sankey have declined to comment on the story.

While at the main podium from Hoover, Fisher was asked to share his thoughts on the report suggesting Texas and Oklahoma want to join the SEC.

“I bet they would,” Fisher responded while laughing.

That was about all Fisher had to say on the subject, as he noted he has no knowledge of Texas or Oklahoma potentially joining the SEC.

“I’m just worried about Texas A&M, you know what I mean? We got the greatest league in ball. The choices they make, I don’t know about that,” he added.
