Johnny Manziel garnered rave reviews at A&M Pro Day, reportedly back on NFL's radar
The comebackSZN continues to progress for Johnny Manziel following a solid showing at Tuesday’s Pro Day event in College Station.
According to NFL scouts in attendance, Manziel impressed with his arm, with some suggesting he looked even better this week than he did when he originally came out of Texas A&M in 2014 and was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Gil Brandt of NFL.com noted the positive vibes Manziel created for himself shortly after his throwing session and media appearance.
Hearing really good reports from my scouts on the ground on how Johnny Manziel's workout went today at Texas A&M's pro day. One said he even looked better than he did in 2014.

Brandt’s comments were backed up by Billy Liucci of TexAgs. Liucci was a guest on SiriusXM radio show SEC This Morning on Wednesday and reported several NFL teams are now considering Manziel. While he still likely has a long way to go before he’s ready to make an NFL roster, the progress has to be encouraging for Manziel moving forward.
Here’s a segment from Liucci’s appearance on SEC This Morning:

Following the throwing session, New England met with Manziel. The Patriots also attended Manziel’s throwing session last week at the University of San Diego Pro Day.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, New England was not alone in their courting of Manziel following Texas A&M’s Pro Day.
