Texas A&M notched its best win of the season on Saturday, when it outlasted Kentucky in overtime.

However, it may not have been the Aggies’ best showing this year, particularly on offense. And quarterback Kellen Mond knows what the issues are and how they can be corrected moving forward.

“Everybody kind of took their turn making a mistake on offense. It kind of made us a little bit inconsistent,” Mond told the media on Monday. “It’s going to be something that we need to focus on going into this week.”

Texas A&M had only 14 points before Saturday’s game went to overtime. However, the Aggies finished with 390 yards of total offense, with Mond passing for 226 yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps better consistency will lead to more points for the Aggies in the future.

Mond has been improved this season as he has passed for 1,447 yards and nine touchdowns during Texas A&M’s 4-2 start.

The Aggies will look for another win — and to improve on offense — when they travel to play South Carolina this Saturday.
