Some say all is fair in the world of college football recruiting. Kevin Sumlin is clearly one who believes in that logic.

The former Texas A&M head coach, now in Tucson leading the Arizona program, has just extended his latest scholarship offer to Aggie running back commit Deneric Prince. Now we may find out if Prince chose A&M for the Aggie program and school or for Sumlin.

Prince originally pledged to Texas A&M all the way back in June, so his commitment has been firm despite all the rumblings surrounding the speculation regarding Sumlin that plagued the coach nearly all fall. For what it’s worth, Prince is the only 2018 running back currently committed to A&M while Arizona has one prospect committed and another signed. Of course, their pledges to the Wildcats came long before Sumlin arrived on the scene.

The Manvel native is rated as a three-star by 247Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 52 overall running back in the nation. He expressed his excitement upon landing the offer Wednesday afternoon:
