On Thursday, Texas A&M released a video on Twitter of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit inviting fans to come out to College GameDay’s set on Saturday the morning of their highly-anticipated matchup against No. 2 Clemson.

Herbstreit says in the video that the GameDay crew will be at Aggie Park, and urges fans to show up and show America why Texas A&M has one of the best student bodies and best fan bases in college football. Herbstreit says fans should show up early to get a good seat for Saturday’s festivities.

Seems pretty normal, right? Herbstreit and crew want a good turnout for their preview show on Saturday, and Texas A&M should be excited about their big game that night.

Well, Georgia’s special assistant to the head coach, Mike Cavan, thought it was kind of tacky.

Herbstreit responded, saying he was just helping out with a request from the school.

Fans then began to comment on College GameDay’s draw, and how promotional videos weren’t needed in the past for a large turnout.

What do you think? Is Texas A&M’s request for a video from Herbstreit pretty normal, or did you think it was a little tacky?
