As the 2018 NFL Draft approaches, many analysts don’t seem to know what to make of star Texas A&M WR/KR Christian Kirk.

Some have Kirk pegged as a first-round pick, while others have him in the second and third rounds. Therefore, Kirk’s performance at the NFL Scouting Combine will be critical for his draft position.

According to NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah, though, Kirk is one of five players who could make an immediate impact in the NFL. The whole list of players can be found here, but here’s what Jeremiah had to say about Kirk:

Some teams have Kirk as a late-first-round player, while others view him more as a second-round option. Almost everyone agrees that he’s one of the most polished players in the draft. He’s a refined route runner and should quickly emerge as one of the league’s most effective slot receivers. Cooper Kupp made a big-time impact as a rookie for the Rams working out of the slot last fall, and I expect similar results from Kirk in 2018.

In addition to making an impact as a slot receiver, Kirk could also potentially get on the field as a kickoff and punt returner.

Whichever team picks Kirk will be getting a very versatile player, no matter what round he gets drafted in.
