New Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher has had to scramble quite a bit to get his 2018 recruiting class put together, but he’ll have more time to work on the Aggies’ 2019 class.

On Sunday, he made a huge addition to that group’s defense, picking up a commitment from the 2019 class’s No. 1 overall safety.

As you can see in the tweet below, 5-star Dallas native Brian Williams announced his commitment to the Aggies on Sunday afternoon:

According to the 247Sports composite, Williams is the No. 13 overall player in the 2019 class, the No. 1 safety and the No. 2 overall player from the state of Texas.

Texas A&M now has four commits in its 2018 class, which currently ranks No. 8 in the SEC and No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports.
