Report: Key Texas A&M assistant being considered for job on Penn State staff
The coaching carousel is continuing to spin at the FBS level, though this latest round of movement only involves assistant coaches.
As new coaches fill their staffs and other coaches fill openings, there are still plenty of moves being made by assistants.
Now, that could affect Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M staff. According to Bruce Feldman, A&M DL coach Elijah Robinson is being considered as a replacement for Penn State DL coach Sean Spencer:
#TAMU DL coach Elijah Robinson is in the mix to replace Sean Spencer as #PennState’s DL coach, per source. The Larry Johnson protege is a Penn State grad and a New Jersey native. This year Robinson got A&M the top two D-linemen in New Jersey.

That would be a big loss for the Aggies, but Robinson, as noted by Feldman, does have recruiting ties to the northeast.
Nothing is official yet, but the Aggies will likely try to keep Robinson around.
